  1. ABOUT IQAC:

As a procedure to set an excellence benchmark in Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) in India,NAAC Bangalore executes the procedure of assessment and accreditation of HEIs.Our college has also gone through the second cycle process and secured the reaccreditation grade ‘B’ with CGPA of 2.19upto22nd November 2028.

It is imperative that HEIs are motivated to establish our own internal mechanisms for sustenance, assurance and enhancement of the quality culture of education imparted by them. It is significant that such internalization of quality would be invaluable in the enhancement of quality within the institution. The efficacy of external quality assessment would therefore be determined by the effectiveness of such institutional internal quality systems and processes.

Thus, assurance Cell (IQAC) is a post accreditation quality sustenance activity. Now as per the guidelines of NAAC, we have established an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in our college for quality assurance. As per the norms, we have prepared the cell. We have also included two peer experts from society. The IQAC functions throughout the year for quality assurance. There is a regular meeting which held quarterly.

UGC had made a policy decision that all higher educational institutes shall establish Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) to maintain the momentum of quality consequences. And thus, IQAC was established in our institute on 10th January 2013 as a mechanism to build and ensure a quality culture at Arts & Commerce College Warwat Bakal. The IQAC is meant for planning, guiding and maintaining Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Enhancement (QE) activities of Arts & Commerce College Warwat Bakal.
