AIMS OF NCC

OBJECTIVES OF NCC

  • To reach out the maximum youth through various institutions.
  • To make NCC as an important part of the society.
  • To teach positive thinking and attitude to the youths.
  • To become a main source of National Integration by making NCC  as one of the greatest cohesive force of our nation irrespective of any caste, creed, religion or region.
  • To mould the youth of the entire country into a united, secular and disciplined citizens of the nation.
  • To provide an ideal platform for the youth to showcase their potential in nation building

BRIEF HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT

Establishment : September, 2010

The NCC unit of 30 cadets was sanctioned from 13 MAH Bn NCC, Khamgaon in 2010-11. The vacancy of 30 cadets was raised to 50 from 2011-12. The Enrolment of cadets in first year of NCC is carried out in the month of August every year. The 30 / 70 criterion of woman reservation is followed for the enrolment.

NCC 'B' Certificate Examination

‘B’ Certificate is awarded to SD/SW Cadets of schools/colleges after the completion of 2 years training course and passing ‘B’ Cert examination conducted by NCC authorities. NCC cadet who has attended 75% of NCC parades and attended the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) is eligible to appear in this examination. The examination is held in the month of Feb/Mar every year.

NCC 'C' Certificate Examination
‘C’ Certificate is awarded to SD/SW Cadets of colleges after the completion of 3 years training course and passing ‘C’ Cert examination conducted for it. NCC cadet who has attended 75% of NCC parades, passed ‘B’ Cert examination and attended the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) is eligible to appear in this examination. The examination is held in the month of Feb/Mar every year.
